Overview:
This
course presents a complete introduction to the features
and capabilities of the Oracle RDBMS (Relational
Database Management System). Relational database
terminology and differences between relational and
non-relational systems are addressed. SQL (Structured
Query Language) is used to help illustrate database
features. This course will provide participants with a
foundation in relational database concepts and RDBMS
features implemented in all current product releases,
including Oracle8 and Oracle8i. This course is also
appropriate as an introduction to Oracle8/Oracle8i for
those familiar with other relational database products.
