Oracle 8i Concepts and Facilities
Length: 2 Days
Audience: Managers, Programmers, Analysts, and Users involved with or considering using an Oracle8 or Oracle8i database system.
Prerequisites: Basic computer literacy, Experience working with MS Windows or similar operating system is suggested.
Overview:

This course presents a complete introduction to the features and capabilities of the Oracle RDBMS (Relational Database Management System). Relational database terminology and differences between relational and non-relational systems are addressed. SQL (Structured Query Language) is used to help illustrate database features. This course will provide participants with a foundation in relational database concepts and RDBMS features implemented in all current product releases, including Oracle8 and Oracle8i. This course is also appropriate as an introduction to Oracle8/Oracle8i for those familiar with other relational database products.
