Overview:
This course
provides a thorough introduction to SQL
(Structured Query Language), the language used
to work with relational databases. From the
examination of single table operations to the
complexities of accessing multiple tables using
joins or subqueries, this course provides the
basic skills needed to use SQL. Participants
will also learn how to use SQL*Plus, Oracle's
command environment for entering, editing and
running SQL statements to interact with the
database and to produce reports. Workshops
including "real world" coding examples serve to
reinforce the material presented in class.
