What They Think of Us?               


Soaring Eagle has been here numerous times.  We have asked for their help in a consulting and education role.   The feedback from the participates who interacted with them has been positive. 

 

The biggest benefit we had was enabling literal autoparam.  This increased our replication throughput to a point where we have now caught up on archiving.   Replication is rarely behind, and when it does get behind,  it catches up much faster.   We have been hitting our SLA's again.

When Jeff came we had many queries that were running in double digit seconds and by the end of the first day of the performance and tuning engagement he had fixed a number of vital applications that were running in subseconds.

Before we hired Soaring Eagle we had already "released," another vendor because they were unable to help us with our application issues. We told Soaring Eagle that if we did not see any results in a couple of days we would show them the door as well. problem could not be fixed. Our sales staff complained that customers were just leaving our site in mid-transaction and going elsewhere to purchase the product. I felt like my all I could do was wring my hands. A friend said that he had recently been to a SQL Saturday event and told me to call Soaring Eagle. I am glad that we did. In under a week our application is fixed and we estimate that our revenues should increase by thousands of dollars just because our customers will stick around for the payment processing as the purchase now runs in less than a second.
